I bought 8 night gowns

I bought 8 night gowns, for 9.99 From Avenue I will never buy from this company again the material is no good at all ,its produces Link after one wash.

Order didn't show up - Customer service did nothing - contracted agency with no accountability!

I placed an order for bathing suits with extra time so I would be sure it was received before my upcoming trip. I didn't notice it was running late until a week before I had to leave and it still hadn't arrived. I logged in and tracked the package, which FedEx claimed had been delivered to my front door 5 days prior. I called FedEx because I couldn't get a hold of Avenue - they said they passed it to USPS on that date and were only the shipper for the 1st part (?) Finally got a hold of Avenue and they told me they would escalate it and to call back in 2 days if I still hadn't received it, because that was the last day in my shipping window, and I couldn't initiate a refund request unless it was still missing by then. By 4:30 of that day (Friday, Labor day weekend) still no delivery, or update and I called to start the refund process. They claimed they couldn't do anything but, re-escalate the issue, since it had already been sent to "Corporate". They couldn't provide any numbers for corporate and apparently his supervisor was also unavailable. Such a useless and frustrating experience, I will never shop here again!
I leave for my trip tomorrow and I have no suits and am out almost $200, which I have no idea when I will see. I wish I had checked these reviews before purchasing from this company that obviously does not care about their customers.
I have worked in fulfillment and sales most of my life and I know that what their choices of using contracted customer service companies and crappy, low budget shipping contracts are just more ways to cut costs at the expense of client experience.

Tried placing a large order but…

Tried placing a large order but checking out my avenue card number was not going through I called customer service says hold for 9 min I was on hold for 40 min. Ugh! while on hold 3 of my items dropped off my order...So pissed!!! still no call back from help line. I placed the balance of my order and paid cash for fear i might loose my order all together... after this because i needed the outfits NO MORE SHPPING HERE.

This business is a scam… spent over $200 and they "lost" my package and won't offer a refund. It's been over two weeks and after calling them twice and DHL once they finally figured it out. Don't waste your money here.

Customer service is A JOKE! Return is a JOKE!

Never received my package, it was sent back to the warehouse, but it gets better i have to wait 3~5 business days for someone to CALL ME To Authorize MY RETURN!
So I DONT HAVE MY CLOTHES, THEY WHERE QUICK AS HELL TO TAKE THE MONEY LIKE ALL COMPANYS.,,, but have to WAIT FOR A PHONE CALL FOR A RETURN!

Been waiting 7 days for the damn package, gotta wait 3-5 days for someone to cal me, nd then wait another 3-5 to get my refund! NEVER AGAIN!
Oooooo but im sure they making sure they get there PACKAGE B4 giving me a call for my refund!

Was a HORRIBLE PLACE TO WORK WHEN THEY HAD ACTUAL STORES,,, nd i see NOTHING HAS CHANGED!

Disappointed

I just received my order and I am so disappointed in the quality ,I have ordered from Avenue in the past and have always loved my clothes but two of the shirts in this order have ruffle trim and the seams don’t even line up one is about an inch off and the other has part of the ruffle missing two other shirts are so thin and poorly sewn I feel like I received shirts that were supposed to be discarded very disappointed hopefully return process will not be a problem

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. I’m trying to return multiple items the company claims never shipped. I have a packing slip and 5 items in my possession. Long waits while on with customer service and 4 days later no resolution.

Tops Were Huge

I ordered two tops, however I had to return both. I like my tops a lil loose and I usually purchase size 2x or 3x depending on the style. The tops I ordered were 22/24 and they were huge. I mean really huge. I could have returned them for a smaller size, but the quality of the tops I found disappointing. The good news and reason for the 4 star rating was the easy return! I dropped the package in the mail and within 2 days I was notified of the receipt of my return and the money was deposited back into my account, minus shipping/handling. I used to enjoy shopping at the local avenue store which closed, so I will give them another try with online ordering. Especially knowing that returns are handled timely.

Idf you like waiting 3 weeks for tyour order, this website is for you!

Ordered 6/2/22 and my 5 nightgowns are being delivered by FedEx Smartpost: you know, the Fed Ex to USPS amoeba-crawl-shipping!? I would never buy anything from them again. How absurd to ship so slow!?

Worst customer service on the planet

This company has the absolute worst customer service on the planet. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone via their phone number and while on hold for 35,45 to 60 minutes, the recording keeps referring you to utilize the live chat on the website which does not exist. Emails to their customer service address bounce back because the mailbox is full and if they don't bounce back please do not expect a reply because they don't answer any emailed inquiries.

If you place an order you can expect it to spend 6 to 7 days in fulfillment and good luck trying to reach anyone to cancel the order because if you stay on hold for an hour they refuse to cancel any orders. They will promise to send the package express mail to get you off the phone and then a day or two later you'll get an email saying that they are going to ship it standard mailing, eventually. I will never do business with this company again because of this horrible customer service.

Shein, although the quality is not as good. It is cheaper and they have an excellent return policy and customer service as well. Avoid Woman Within.
